Yin & Mindfulness
Yin Yoga is a quiet, receptive practice that involves long introspective holding of postures to develop flexibility, fluidity, compassion, acceptance and strength in the body, heart and mind.
Clare’s Yin classes blend the introspective practice of Yin Yoga with Buddhist philosophy, Mindfulness training, Hands-on energy work, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hatha Yoga subtle anatomy to provide an in depth, wholistic approach to healing. Clare studied Yin & Mindfulness under the guidance of master teacher Sarah Powers and has been hosting Yin & Mindfulness 50 hour teacher trainings around NSW since 2017.

Prana Vinyasa Flow
Clare completed her training with Shiva Rae in 2017 and has been teaching the Prana Vinyasa® style in group classes and workshop settings, alongside her more traditional teachings of Hatha Yoga. Prana Vinyasa® classes are ritual movement and breath inspired journeys that offer a complete spectrum of rhythms from meditative and rejuvenating to challenging and empowering. The wave of a class is created through cycles of effective and creative sequences linked together through the breath. Prana Vinyasa® creates whole body transformation of strength and fluidity, circulation and centering. Drawing on a base of traditional yoga asana, classes offer a means to explore the fullness of one’s self from solar to lunar while being centered in the flow of breath.

Yoga Back to Basics
Clare is passionate about bringing the wholistic, healing practice of yoga to all, regardless of ability, health, age and whether you can touch your toes or not (bend your knees!). Many people think that they need to ‘be flexible’ to practice yoga. This is simply not true! Yoga really is for everyone and Clare’s clear, thorough and detailed instruction combined with her nurturing nature allow you to learn at your own pace. Clare’s skill is in de-mystifying what may seem like complex concepts to make them accessible and enjoyable for all.

Private Sessions
Traditionally the practices of yoga were taught one to one, student to teacher. Yoga ‘classes’ are a relatively new concept. Clare’s private yoga sessions are tailored to your specific needs and include a pre-session consultation and post-session sequences and guided meditations so you can establish your own home practice. A private session will also provide you with all the knowledge to confidently attend group yoga classes. A private session is tailored to you and will include alignment in asana (physical postures), meditation techniques, breathing techniques and ways to integrate yoga off the mat.

Corporate Yoga Programs
The wholistic practice of yoga has been proven to reduce stress, improve sleeping patterns and boost productivity and focus within the workplace. Yoga guides the nervous system into the PNS state (Parasympathetic Nervous System or ‘Rest & Digest’) and improves vitality, flexibility and strength in the physical body as well as the mind. Yoga is a perfect antidote to long hours spend seated, working on screens.
